Local Recognition:

Not only are we excelling on a national level, but we have also secured the highest Progress 8 score among state schools in the boroughs of Kingston, Richmond upon Thames, Merton, Croydon, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth and Lewisham! We are the highest scoring state Catholic school in all of the above boroughs including Sutton and Wandsworth! Surpassing even selective state schools, this achievement underscores our commitment to providing a world-class education that empowers our students to THRIVE.

What is Progress 8?

Progress 8 is a key metric that measures the progress students make from the end of primary school to the end of secondary school. Any P8 score over 0 is excellent, but the score +1.0 means that pupils achieve one GCSE grade higher than pupils with similar prior attainment nationally.

Our Commitment to Excellence:

At The Holy Cross School, we believe in fostering an environment where students not only meet but exceed their potential. Our dedicated staff, innovative teaching methods, and supportive community contribute to the holistic development of each student.

This impressive Progress 8 score of +1.03 wouldn’t be possible without the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, motivated students, and supportive community. Together, we continue to redefine excellence in education.
