Inspiring Women in STEM!
17 Oct
Mathematics can unlock countless career opportunities, and that’s exactly what our Year 10 students discovered at the Ada Lovelace Day event in London, hosted by GOOGLE UK HQ and organised by Maths4Girls.
They heard from amazing speakers like Anne Keast-Butler, Director of GCHQ; Elisa Jabbar, Athlete Marketing Manager at EA Games; Konnie Huw, Presenter; Lauren Ingram, CEO and founder of Women of Web3; and Seladi Steiger, Founder of Black Females in Architecture. These incredible women shared how maths is an essential part of their daily work and how a strong maths foundation opened doors to their dream careers.
Let’s celebrate the role of women in STEM and empower the next generation to explore the endless possibilities that maths can offer.
